This gay-friendly luxury manor is a 16th and 17th century chateau that has been transformed into a chateau-hotel, situated just outside Tours, in the centre of a 140 hectare park which overlooks the picture perfect Lake Briffaut. This prestigious hotel features three dining rooms, one with a stunning fireplace, and two smaller but elegant dining halls decorated in the styles of Louis XII and Louis XV, respectively. During the summer season, lunch is served poolside and dinner on the lakeside terrace. The Chateau features a tennis court, an outdoor heated swimming pool, fishing on the lake, bicycle rental; and signposted hikes in the surrounding park. The Manor also proposes its guests its restaurant featuring chef Regis Guilpain, a lover of quality ingredients used to make simple yet distinct flavors come to life. In addition to cuisine par excellence, the chateau offers its guests a selection from its 1000 bottle wine celler. These wines are available to guests not only during dinner, but also during a cocktail hour called ApéroJazz in which live musicians set the mood while you sample local wines. Small group in-cellar wine tasting is also available.
