Our  Rates : 2010/2011

Thanks to its pre-eminent position on the market, Gay Travel France is able to offer you the best apartments at the most reasonable prices, both in Paris and Nice, on the French Riviera. 

Renting a furnished apartment gives you more space and liberty than a hotel room while remaining cost-competitive and retaining all the services you would normally find in a hotel, such as reception, housekeeping and concierge services…

 

I – What our rates include:

1.1 – Short term rentals (from 4 to 90 nights)

The nightly rate applies to all short-term rentals. For stays between 7 and 30 nights, the rate includes a discount of 10% off the nightly rate. For stays between 30 and 90 nights, the rate includes a discount of 35% off the nightly rate

Nightly rates are based on:

• Double (2) occupancy for studios and 1 bedroom apartments, using the same bed.
• Four (4) person occupancy for 2 bedroom apartments, with 2 beds.
• Six (6) person occupancy for 3 bedroom apartments, with 3 beds.

The supplement for an extra guest, or for the preparation of the sofa bed or an extra bed, is 22 € per night, per guest.

1.2 - Long term rentals (90 nights or more)

For long term rentals (3 months or more), monthly rates apply. Monthly rental rates do not include agency fees or utility consumption such as electricity, gas, telephone, etc..

For long-term rentals, the agency fee is calculated as follows:

• 2 month rental (low season only) = ½ month rent 
• 3 month rental = ¾ month rent 
• 3 to 6 month rental = 1 month’s rent 
• 6 to 9 month rental = 20% of the total rent for the entire period
• 9 to 11 month rental = 18% of the total rent for the entire period
• 1 year rental = 15% of the total rent for the entire period
• Renewal from 12 to 24 months = 7,5% of total rent for the entire period 
• Renewal from 24 to 36 months = 3,75% of total rent for the entire period 

Please do not hesitate to contact us with long term rental inquiries to receive our best rates.  The longer your stay, the better the rate we can offer, so more attractive rates are negotiable.

II - Seasonal rates:

In order to offer the most competitive rates, we have established 2 rental periods:

• High season: From April 1st to October 31st (except August) & December 23rd to January 4th,
• Low season: From November to December 22nd & January 5th to march 31st & August

III – Description of services included :

Nightly and short term rental rates include: 

• Use of the apartment, furnishings and equipment for the specified period.
• A supply of linens and towels, and weekly changing for stays between 7 and 90 nights. 
• All utility service/connection charges (water, electricity, Internet and gas).
• Reasonable consumption of electricity (see General Sales Conditions) 
• Television, non-premium channels.
• Free Internet service is included in most apartments. Hardware and software requirements are the responsibility of the guest.
• A welcome pack with soap, toilet paper and something to prepare beverages (coffee, tea, and hot chocolate). 
• Assistance with all requests specific to your reservation or problems which may arise.
• Internet access, mail and fax reception are also available in our offices.

Monthly rental rates for long term stays include:

• Use of the apartment, furnishings and equipment for the specified period.
• A supply of linens and towels, but no changing service.  
• All utility service/connection charges (water, electricity, Internet and gas).
• Water consumption only. Electricity consumption is the responsibility of the guest.
• Television, non-premium channels.
• Free Internet service is included in most apartments. Hardware and software requirements are the responsibility of the guest.  
• Assistance with all requests specific to your reservation or problems which may arise.
• Internet access, mail and fax reception are also available in our offices.

IV. Reservation Fees.

Many of our competitors require a minimum stay of one week.  Absolu Living accepts all stays greater than 4 nights.  

Reservation fees will be added to your short term rental.  We lowered these fees as much as possible:

• Studio or Large Studio apartment: 39 €
• One bedroom apartment: 49 €
•  Two bedroom apartment: 59 €

A reservation of less than 4 nights may be possible depending on availability.  A supplement of 37 € will be charged to cover logistics and apartment preparation expenses of these shorter reservations.

For any reservation of more than 8 nights, a supplement of 10 € will be charged to cover bed linen and towels change during the stay.

In any case, you will receive an email with exact quotes clearly indicating the applicable reservation fee for your next stay.

V. Other services.

• Pre-paid departure housekeeping services : 20.80 € per hour, arranged and paid upon arrival
• Departure housekeeping services : 26 € per hour
• On-site, personalized welcome : 35 €
• Electricity, beyond reasonable consumption guidelines: 0,20 € per kilowatt/hour (the reasonable consumption is free)
• Preparation of extra bed: 22 € per person and per night
• Extra bed for 1 person: 39 € per night
• Baby cot: 19 € per night
• Small animal (less than 7 kg), upon authorization : 5 € per night
• Late check out between noon and 4pm : 38 €
• Late check out between 4 and 6pm : 58 €
• Check out after 6pm : extra rental day
• Credit card payments for final balance : 2,95%
• Security deposits :
  • Studio: 500 €
  • 1 Bedroom : 800 €
  • 2 Bedroom : 1000 €
  • 3 Bedroom and higher : 1500 €
  • Additional fee for small animals (separate authorization required) : normal security deposit + 1,000 € 
  • Long term rental : 2 months’ rent
